Selection Tool: The selection tool allows you to select objects on the staging area. If it is a raw object, a single click on the fill selects the fill... a double click will grab both the fill and the stroke.
Sub Selection Tool: this tool allows you to manipulate anchor points on the object
Free Transform Tool: Allows you to skew and scale your selection
Lasso Tool: allows you to draw out selection areas of a raw object
PenTool: allows you to draw vector lines that can be adjusted with the stroke tools
Text Tool: Allows you to add text to the stage area
Line Tool: Allows you to add lines that can be adjusted with Stroke tools

Rectangle Tool: Draws Rectangles
Oval Tool: Draws Circles and Ovals (*shown above)
Rectangle Primitive Tool: Draws Rectangles with custom bevelled and rounded corners(*shown above)
Oval Primitive Tool: Draws Circles and Ovals with radius (donut) editing and angle (pacman) editing.(*shown above)
Polystar Tool: Draws polygons and stars with customized edges and sides.(*shown above)
Paint Brush Tool: Allows you to draw custom fills and free paint
Ink BottleTool: Allows you to Add strokes to an object
Paint Bucket: Creates Fills
Eraser Tool:Erases
Hand Tool:allows you to move the stage area in position...very useful
Magnifying glass Tool:Zoom in and out on selection
Stroke and Fill Color can be edited in the area below the magnifying glass on the tool bar and on the color pallette to your right(*not pictured). Below that on the left (L) is the black and white button which will automatically select a White Fill and Black Stroke. Next to it on the (R) Right is the color swap icon which will swap your colors between the fill and stroke.
The SNAP TO OBJECT Icon when selected shows a small black ring under the pointer. When you drag an element close to another object The small ring changes to a larger ring and allows you to close gaps or connect shapes..
